When we had a stop in Beijing on our way to Australia in December, we stopped at a thrift shop at home to get warm clothing that we could leave in China so we wouldn’t have to carry it through our trip in Australia. On our way to the airport to depart China, we left a few bags of clothing and warm coats with our driver, asking him to donate then to someone who could use them. He was grateful and it saved us baggage fees and luggage space the rest of the trip.
