Yeah, I did four consecutive $50 credits. If you’re not seeing reimbursements, I’d hold off! Just to be clear, are you doing it here? united.com/offers/travelcash

Did you put all $50 the same day? I still don’t see the credit. Should I max it out with another $50? Its been 5 days and no credit yet 🙁

Frontier is my chosen airline. I purchased a round trip ticket on sale in late December for around $30. Then in a separate transaction (important, I believe) I added about $175 worth of luggage, using my platinum card, which reimbursed from the credit. Due to covid, Frontier has temporarily waived change and cancellation fees. In February, I cancelled the flight and the cost of the entire itinerary was refunded as a travel credit in my Frontier account, so now that is available to use for airfare as well as incidentals. If you do this, just make sure to check their website for the current status of the change and cancellation fees… Last I knew, it was extended through the end of March ’21, but they have re-extended it multiple times (though sometimes with a lapse in between).
Incidentally, my low price ticket did also trigger the credit

Think the airlines are so desperate now they will take your money any way you want to give it to them. Waiting to see on my Amex credit coming thru.

I got the Airline Fee Credit From Amex Platinum for the $100. Now, there is not ability to purchase the funds anymore. Looks like there was a small window open

That’s not new news.

With most airlines policy being bookings refunded to voucher/credit with a minimum of 12 months expiration, I’ve been booking cheap fares (+/-$100) with, for example, $55 gift card and $45 on Amex Plat. So far (3 for 3) of the Amex charges have been refunded. I’ve then cancelled the flights (Covid policy) and have +/- $300 of ecredits on account with Delta. Yes, I’ve tied up $165 of my own money, but I’ve made sure none of my Amex benefit is lost.
